Jocelyn and I spent the last couple of days in Colorado for the NPL Finals. Unfortunately, her team didn’t make it out of their bracket but overall they played well. You win some, you lose some. For the most part, the games were all early in the day which left the afternoon for a bit of siteseeing which we tried to take full advantage of.
Life
Ocean City 7/2016
Boston 6/2016
With the assist from Gabe, I scored a flash deal on some plane tickets to Boston. It was my first time visiting Bean Town. Didn’t really go in with a plan. Just wandered around the city for a bit. Checked out Newbury street, ate some good food, and visited Fenway Park.
Soccer + Cuban Food + Roller Skating = Weekend
This past weekend was pretty busy. Both girls had stuff going on. Jocelyn’s soccer team participated in the Hunt Valley Annual Soccer Tournament in Warrenton Virginia. The weather on Saturday was pretty nice. A little chilly but nothing crazy. Sunday on the other hand was miserable. 40 degrees was the high. The team did well though and ended up taking 1st place. On Saturday, they tied their first game and won their second game 5-0. On Sunday, they tied their first game and won their second game 5-0. Jocelyn had 4 goals and a couple of assists for the tournament.
I was happy the tournament took place in Warrenton. My favorite Cuban restaurant is located there and I always make an effort to stop by for a mojito and some steak.
After we finished up with soccer on Sunday, Jessica had a roller skating event with her Girl Scout troop. Jocelyn was lucky enough to tag along.
Thanksgiving Luncheon 2013
Every year I look forward to the Thanksgiving luncheon at Jessica’s school. Mostly due to the fact that cafeteria turkey hasn’t changed in 26 years so it’s a nice taste of nostalgia. We probably have another year of being able to do this with her. Her sister cut us off in the 5th grade. At some point I guess we just weren’t cool enough.

My first post. Thought I’d start a blog to put up some of these pictures that I’m taking with my new camera. Hopefully I’ll keep up with it. Word to @gabeezy for the inspiration.
